BLACK GUNDOG RAISES £2,100 FOR BREAST CANCER CARE WITH PINK WHISTLES

Black Gundog ®, the new shooting and gundog brand, has so far raised £2,100 for Breast Cancer Care through sales of its special edition pink ACME gundog whistle. Laura Hill, owner of Black Gundog, presented the cheque to Amy Casbolt of Breast Cancer Care at Black Gundog’s headquarters in Leicestershire.

The special edition pink whistle took the shooting field by storm last year, and proved to be the perfect “stocking filler” at Christmas. It has since been sported at shoots, field trials and in the training field the length and breadth of the UK, and demand has also been strong from overseas customers from as far a field as Sweden, Russia, USA and Japan.

Laura Hill said: “When I had the idea for the pink whistle, it was hard to gauge how people would react to it, and what the demand would be. I am delighted that so many people have embraced the concept and shown their support for Breast Cancer Care in such a visible way.”

The whistle, which is available in 210 ½ and 211 ½ versions, comes on a Black Gundog lanyard and costs £10 (inc. P&P). It is only available from http://www.blackgundog.com/ or by calling 0845 009 1509.

Black Gundog also has a range of sporting womenswear and gundog training accessories, and 10% of profits on these products also go to the charity.
